Shipping: Ordered 2 pairs on Oct. 29. This pair shipped 3 days later (Nov. 1) and arrived in California 10 days after that on Nov. 10. The second pair shipped on Nov. 7, and I haven’t received them yet. They won’t make it in time for the event I was going to wear them at. So, if getting your boots on time for an event is important, I would give an order 4 weeks ahead of the event.

Quality: The faux leather is soft and looks nice, not plasticy. The faux ostrich leather has a subtle raised texture, but the shadows and color variations are printed on, which makes it look really fake. I’m pretty disappointed by that. The boots are nice enough quality for non-leather fashion boots. But I’m not sure that they are worth the price. The embroidery is real. They arrived in a small box with the shaft folder over. I was worried about creases, but there are none. They do have a strong off-gassing, so I’ve had to set them outside to air out for a couple of days.

Size: You might want to order a 1/2 size up. I ordered my usual size and they fit, but are on the tight side. And, because it isn’t leather, they won’t stretch out as they break in.

I purchased these because they are a dupe for a limited edition pair of Tecovas that I wanted. While they aren’t Tecovas quality, I’m amazed at the likeness of the boots. The color of the ostrich part was a bit different than I was expecting, more lighter colored, but I am not disappointed by it! It actually contrasts the boots really well. While I cannot speak for longevity of the boots, I can speak for how well they look. After the wrinkles have time to get out, I think they will be an awesome pair to wear around the town. They did take about a month, maybe 5 weeks to come in… which can be frustrating in today’s time of Amazon services, but I’m not opposed to waiting. Overall, I am very impressed!
